As Covid-19 vaccines continue to increase optimism, business leaders have been quoted saying they believe the worst is behind us. Meanwhile, retailers continue to innovate in touchless checkout solutions, from palm-reading biometric ID scanners to ‘moving buttons’ that rotate on screen touchpoints so no two people hit the same area of the screen. This is the type of innovation that will not only enhance the checkout experience but also provide the safety protocols consumers will desire.
